Marching Band.

Yep. It's CONTEST SEASON for the marching bands across Texas and the United States for that matter....

Texas marching = toughest marching in the United States. Judging is pickier, it's taken EXTREMELY seriously.

We had a contest last weekend and were fourth to advance to finals, but finals got rained out...=/

This is the band that got first place. INSANE that this is their first contest and they're already that amazing. Which means we have to get that way x10 in 2 weeks for Area.

This is a state year for AA and AAAA so we're working our butts off so we can make it to state....in order to make it we need to achieve a 1 rating at UIL contest [which is simple] and then get one of the spots to go to state from Area. 1 out of every 5 bands that competes at Area goes to state.

So here's the video. The Wakeland band and all of their amazingness. [THEY FREAKIN' HAD AN OPERA SINGER O_o]
